Creativity for Kids Craft Party #FaberCastellParty

by TerriAnn

I was so excited to be selected by MommyParties to hold a Creativity for Kids Party! Among our circle of friends, we have a ton of girls ranging in age from 7 to 11. I’m not one to keep a group of kids entertained so I was hoping the Creativity for Kids projects would do it for me. The three main projects we did from the ‘Craft Party’ box I received were:

First I handed out their aprons (also included) and the children got to work. There was really no instruction needed as the creative juices of these girls were overflowing. We had plenty of supplies to go around and I was so amazed at the bracelets, headbands, and totes they designed!

As the day progressed, each girl could work at her pace and move to the next project after they were done. We didn’t have any other activities planned but we did have our event near a great playground, just in case any of the kids got antsy and needed to burn off some energy. This worked out perfectly!

So you might be wondering what the parents did during the 2-1/2 hours or so while the kids created their items. Don’t worry, they were quite busy as well!

After all the projects were done and the kids (and parents) were pooped out, we passed out a few more surprises. Each girl got a mini-Shrinky Dink Jewelry kit to make at home! They also got to take some Pop-Art necklace supplies (I was supposed to have these made during the party but forgot) and an activity/coloring book. It was like the fun just didn’t stop!

Everyone had such a great time and I scored some major points with my daughter’s friends. She said they kept saying, “Your mom’s so cool!” At the same time, I never once heard anyone complaining of being bored. I think that’s the sign of a successful party!

If you have boys, you might want to check out the Creativity for Kids Boy Zone projects. We had a 6-year-old boy there and these kits were WAY to girly for him.

To make this a rounded review, I tried really hard to think of negative aspects or things I though could be improved. Well, I came up with none – really! The next time you are looking for something your kids will enjoy doing, try checking out the amazing selection of items from Creativity for Kids!

They were. The funny thing is that I was REALLY surprised the moms were just as focused if not more!

It was. I was super stressed getting everything together but I’m so glad it turned out so well 🙂
