Pook-A-Looz

by TerriAnn

In Disney Stores you might have seen a new line of toys, called Pook-a-Looz, that gives classic Disney characters a new ‘look’. Now Jakks’s CDI has launched new products based on this called Wobblers, Yip Yappers, Spinners, and Walkers.

My daughter’s favorite is the Yip Yapper. With the cute keychain clip, this is fun for your child to put on their backpack. Why is it called a Yip Yapper? Watch this (3 seconds long):

Her next favorite is the wind-up Walker. Wobblers are great for collectors. Spinners are scary . . . You need to pull the arm and release to make it spin. Since the string snaps back so fast, it pinches us every time.

These are a lot of fun and there are several varieties of each type of toy. You can get them for about $4.99 at big stores like Toys “R” Us and will be coming to Target next month. These will be great to show off or trade with friends at school. Jakks’ Pook-a-Looz items are for children 5 and up.

Disclosure: I was provided with four (4) Pook-A-Looz toys at no cost in order to test the product. The review presented here is 100% my honest opinion.

Those are cute! I really love the little Snow White and the Mickey Mouse. I think I saw something similar to this at Wal-Mart lately… I like them. =] It would be cute if they made plush characters.

They do make plush characters – that’s what the design was showcased with. I saw them at the Disney store a few months ago but last time I went they were gone.
