Strutting My Stuff with Reebok Skyscape – They’re Washable! #MC #Skyscape #Sponsored

Reebok Skyscape casual shoes in black, navy, pink, gray – Review #Skyscape #MC

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Reebok. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

The last time I got a new pair everyday casual shoes/sneakers, they ended up going to my daughter as they were a tad too tight for me. It’s been ages and I was due for a another pair. With summer coming, I needed something that would be comfortable enough for errands and family staycations but that worked with shorts, shirts, and capris. Then, I ordered these from Reebok Skyscape shoes from Kohls.com:

An everyday shoe for active and casual wear, Skyscape features 360 degrees of foam comfort in a fun, flirty silhouette that pairs perfectly with jeans, skirts or yoga pants and is so comfortable, you’ll forget you have it on.

Oh, my goodness, they’re so soft and cushy! The uppers are made of a smooth, stretch material which kind of feels like the material used for workout pants. With foam inside that and a foam insole, stepping into the shoes is like putting on a pair of fuzzy socks, only these you can actually wear outside and not be embarrassed or embarrass those around you. The shoes originally had navy laces but I immediate switched those out for the included turquoise ones to make them more ‘spring-y’ to match the season.

My feet sweat so I can’t wear the shoes by themselves so, due to the low cut, I prefer to use those no-show liner socks. But, they’re washable! If they ever get dirty or start to smell a little rank, just throw them in the washing machine in cold (30°F) and you’re good to go.

Speaking of going outside, I’ve already had a chance to wear these sneakers a few times. The first time I wore them it was to a a blogger event. I got several compliments on how cute they were (I was wearing a cotton pencil skirt that day). A couple of bloggers even came up and said, “Are those Skyscapes?” I guess they must have seen the add with Miranda Kerr in it. After letting them get a closer look, one of them said, “I didn’t know they felt like that!” Several were impressed, especially when another blogger walked in wearing the same shoes but in a different color (thanks for the full-length pic of us, Ana).

Another day, I wore the Skyscape shoes with a pair of staight-legged jeans (I don’t do skinny) when going to the movies. Frans and Munchkin still hadn’t seen Captain America: The Winter Soldier and it was the last day the movie would be shown in XD Digital in the theaters. By the time the movie was over, I didn’t have that tight, swollen feeling in my feet from sitting for two hours in theater chairs.

You know those times when you’ve been on your feet all day and you can’t wait to get home and kick off your shoes? I don’t have that with these, well, at least not yet. Since the upper fabric is stretchy and it kind of forms to your foot, you hardly know they’re on. The rubber sole is thick enough so that you can even do a bit of light hiking, kid wrangling, or amusement park trekking.

Reebok Skyscape – To Buy Or Not To Buy?

The only two issues I have are that they do run a bit big (the 8-1/2 was still okay for me though) and I wish the sole had a bit more arch support since I tend to walk more on the inside of my feet. Aside from that, the Reebok Skyscape is a total winner! They are now my go-to casual shoes and I love that they go with almost everything!

Reebok Skyscape shoes can be found at Kohl’s retail stores (in black or pink) and online at Kohls.com (black, pink, blue, gray). I even posted a mini-review on the site.

I agree that they run big. I had to go with an 8.5 instead of a 9. I LOVE them, though. They are my every day shoe now. I need to wash them AGAIN, though, because I gardened in them on Saturday and the soles have mud stuck in them. I had to wash them the first time because someone let their dog poop right outside the bathroom (on concrete) at soccer and didn’t clean it up… I came out with a stroller and 5 yr old and stepped right into it. I was livid.

Anyway. I LOVE my shoes!

I don’t think I could pull off the look easily, but they look really cute on you! Also, I love the colors that you chose. 🙂

I’m always looking for a good pair of comfy shoes 😉 The fact that these are washable makes me really intrigued by them.
