It has now been almost two years since I’ve gotten into the automotive lifestyle scenes. The way that reviews and trips work are so different than what I had been accustomed to. I recently attended my first major auto show and it was a biggie. The Detroit Auto Show is better known as the North American International Auto Show (or NAIAS) is one of the largest automotive shows in the U.S. With custom showcase areas that seemed to go on forever and elaborate vehicle launches, I was overwhelmed and impressed throughout the 2015 NAIAS Detroit Auto Show.

Many brands chose this venue to unveil new models.

The presentations varied in scale and special effects but each built up the audience’s excitement. Here’s a peek of the 2016 Lincoln MKX announcement, complete with live musicians and rotating displays.

High end manufacturers also showed off new designs while growing interest in current ones.

I was finally able to sit inside of a Tesla. That screen is huge and those optional seats in the back are crazy!

2015 NAIAS Detroit Auto Show – Concept Cars

Not all of the cars on display were for sale. Some brands brought Concept Cars along with them. These are cars that are being currently being worked on and may or may not enter the market in the future. Concept Cars help companies gauge interest of potential buyers or demonstrate new technologies that are being developed.

LOVE the fish tank in this self-driving Concept Car from a China-based company, GEC. BMW also had a similar Concept Car but sans fish tank.

There were so many cars to see and so many brands to check out. Even after circling the venue countless times, I was still lost and totally turned around during most of my visit.
