Ester-C Immune Support

by TerriAnn

Growing older is no fun. Whether you’re 30 or 50 or 92 it is just not nice. And, when you’re a mother, those gray hairs and wrinkles tend to multiply a little faster. Unfortunately, it’s going to happen so all we can do is try to take care of ourselves the best we can. With all the sickness germies floating around lately, we could all use an extra dose of vitamins.

When I go to the drug store to look for supplements, I get terribly frustrated. There are so many brands with vitamins from A to Z, Ginseng to Fish Oil. I was so relieved that Ester-C was going to save me the trouble and send a bottle of their 500 mg Vitamin C to try.

If you’re anything like me, one of the first things you want to know is how big the pill/vitamin is. It is on the larger size but still goes down smoothly. I was pleased to find that there was no ‘pasty’ or chalk-type feeling as I swallowed the vitamin. Also, I did not feel bloated or sick to my stomach afterwards as I have in the past from other supplements. I can’t comment on the immunity as I had only begun taking the vitamins when I got sick. It was ‘too little, too late’ I guess.

Ester-C is known for their superior vitamin C supplements. Why are their products referred to as ‘the better vitamin C’? It’s because of their patented formula that improves absorption. I also like that no extra ‘stuff’ in the vitamins.

FREE OF: Yeast, wheat, milk or milk derivatives, lactose, sugar, preservatives, soy, artificial color, artificial flavor, sodium (less than 5 mg per serving), gluten, grapefruit.

You can also enter yourself or someone you know in the “24/7 Mom Contest” sponsored by Ester-C. The grand prize is a luxurious 7-day Mediterranean cruise. Nominees will then be posted online to allow the public to vote. Voters are will also be eligible for a prize.

Updates can be found on the Ester-C Facebook page. The contest will run from 2/1 to 4/13.

Disclosure: I was provided with the above mentioned product(s) at no charge to facilitate this review, which contains 100% my honest opinion.

Thank you for posting this review. I have heard of this product before and have seen it mentioned on the web but I wasn’t really sure what it was. I’m glad that you reviewed it for me.

I can’t drink OJ because it upsets my stomach, but I know my body needs Vitamin C. I am going to check these out.

Thanks!

That struck me as well. My mom has to be careful of acid so this would be a good supplement for her as well!

Ester C has so many uses. I grind up the tablets into a paste and use it in my weekly masks. Its a trick I learned from an aesthetician.
