New Wishbone Dressing Flavors

by TerriAnn

Let’s face it – salad can get boring. Thank goodness for dressing! Wish-Bone is even making it easier to eat healthy by introducing four new flavors: Mediterranean Italian, Bruchetta Italian, Superfruit Berry, and Greek Vinegarette.

I was sent a gift set to try three of the four flavors. The Superfruit Berry had no lactose in it so it was the perfect dressing for my daughter. Further testing is needed since the dressing is so unique it may take some getting used to. If you are a fan of the sweetness cranberries and apples add to a salad, this might be up your alley.

I used the Bruschetta Italian as a marinade for chicken with a side of pasta and ground turkey. It gave the chicken a slight sweetness and the tomato bits worked well with the pasta. My husband was not a fan so this will have to be used as a dressing versus a meat marinade next time.

I have yet to try the Mediterranean Italian until I get my proper taste buds back (I’ve been sick). This is the flavor I anticipate most as it has feta cheese in it – yum! I think I’ll have to pick up some gyros and spanikopita (spinach and feta in filo dough) for this one.

So if you are looking to bring new life to you greens, keep an eye out for these new varieties from Wish-Bone.

I am all over this! I don’t use salad dressing on my salads, but I use it in cooking!

As sauce or marinade?
