NQ Family Guardian – Parental Control for Smartphones

by TerriAnn

This past weekend, at BlogHer ’12 in New York City, I discovered a great tool for families called NQ Family Guardian. We all know how important it is to explore parental controls for our television and computer, but what about for smartphones?

This past year we decided to give my husband’s old iPhone 3GS to my daughter. We did our best to prepare her for having a phone of her own and even took into account the fact that it was a smartphone, allowing her access to the internet. Still, much more was, and is, needed. I’m very anxious to learn more about this product. Kids in this technologic age have more power in their hands but are exposed to more dangers at the same time.

What concerns or experiences do you have with kids having smartphones?

This post counts as my entry to win a writing contract with NQ Mobile. All opinions are 100% my own and not influenced by the brand featured.
