Money Can’t Buy Happiness . . . Most of the Time

Anyone that has freaked out when their internet connection went down can relate to this quote about how money can’t buy happiness. It may not be entirely the case but I have to admit I’m pretty reliant on the internet myself.

How do you react when you can’t get online?

Initially I am not too thrilled about not being able to get on the web, but then I end up finding a gazillion other things that I should have been doing in the first place rather than surfing the web. Ends up I am much more productive when the internet is down!

Guilty! I can not even stand when my computer is laggy. We seem to be so spoiled with today’s technology.

I get irritated because lately if I go on the computer it is to work to earn our income and if I cannot get online I can’t earn money to support our family.

I panic at first, but then I start to get happy and totally enjoy the freedom of not being tied to it!

I try and get through my bills, mail and paperwork when I can’t get online – thankfully it doesn’t happen often or last long the odd time it happens!

I freak out but than learn to enjoy my time. Kinda sad when it works again. It’s nice not having the temptation to be on the internet!

That’s pretty much the most true quote I’ve ever seen in my life! Obviously I disconnect throughout the day but I swear the internet always dies right when I need it the most.

LOL I about freaked out the other day when it went out. Funny, since I spend all but maybe an hour a day without it all summer long on our trips.
