When the weather gets warmer, nothing is better than hitting the pool or grabbing your favorite frozen treat. Well, that is, nothing except having them together! A giant inflatable dog (a souvenir we brought back with us from the Netherlands) helped up the fun factor a little too. Now this is summer…

As you can see, Bomb Pop got us all ready for the fun. You don’t know what Bomb Pops are? They are those red, white, and blue frozen yummies in the shape of a rocket. Plus, you get three flavors in one – cherry, lime, and blue raspberry.

Summer Fun with Bomb Pop Frozen Treats

Since it has been so warm here lately, we did have some trouble bringing the Bomb Pops with us to the pool. By the time we walked to the complex pool, they started to melt. So, we had to do some quick slurping before they melted into a tri-color puddle. They were a bit too sweet for my daughter and me but our friends loved them.

I tried to get a photo of the kids eating the Bomb Pops but it was hard to nail them down to post in between snacking and playing. Ah, when they’re having that much fun what’s a parent to do 🙂

While Bomb Pops are commonly seen on the display sign of ice cream trucks and carts, you can also find them at larger grocery stores such as Safeway.
