What are Swagbucks? That’s what I’ve been wondering for a while. I would see people post message on forum saying, “I just got 10 SB” or something of that nature. Well, this is what it is. Swagbucks is a search site that uses search engines such as Google. I used to work for Google in rating how applicable a particular page was for any given query. That’s basically what you do for Swagbucks but for free. Well, to compensate you they offer their digital swagbucks which you can redeem for rewards such as Amazon gift cards (450 swagbuck for $5 Amazon Gift Card), cash (700 swagbucks for $5 Paypal cash), etc.
You can earn swagbucks or points by doing four things. 1) Search using their site. 2) Buy items from big retailers through their site. 3) Entering special codes that are periodically featured in their blog or widget. 4) Entering their sweepstakes, trivia games, etc.
If you have a bit of time and need to search for something anyway, it doesn’t hurt to use Swagbucks first. They also offer a tool bar that gives you 1 point for just opening it on your browser each day. As for the special codes? I have to say I enjoy looking for them and getting a few Swagbucks in return.
So if you have a bit time and want to earn free stuff, it might be worth your while to check Swagbucks out.
